Master Gardener

Master Gardeners are a group of certified volunteers. They are certified through the University of Tennessee Extension County Offices, and provide community service throughout the state of Tennessee. Master Gardeners help the Extension Program share all things gardening related!

UT Certified Lawn Care

The Certified Lawn Care Professional course is designed for anyone who manages turfgrass or wants to start a career in the industry. Course topics include variety identification and selection, planting and establishment, soil fertility, pest and weed management, and equipment maintenance and safety. Participants will complete each unit at their own pace.

Scholarships are available for Southern Agricultural Producers

National Pawpaw Day on Thursday September 19th from 5:30-8:00 pm. Held at the Nash Family Creamery in Chapel Hill, TN.

Additional Resources

A series of classes that provide knowledge on home gardening, landscaping, insects and diseases. Classes start at the end of January and continue through the month of April. The Master Gardener Association of Maury County meets each month throughout the year.

A self-guided course in which participants learn to establish and maintain turfgrass.
